Recording of 144MHz aurora QSOs
made on 12/13/14th July 1982

This recording is nearly 1hour long so get yourself a coffee, sharpen your pencil and see what you can copy !
It was recorded on a portable cassette recorder in order to be able to replay any calls or reports I missed
but at the time I didn't know how outstanding the night would turn out to be.
When I decided it was starting to fade out and was time for bed 
dawn was breaking outside when I got to bed at nearly 4am BST :-)
I probably missed quite a few calls as my cw has never been the best,
but the list below is what I did get in the log.
The list includes some calls I know are now sadly silent key.

The locators being sent are the QRA locator system as per the Malmo meeting 1963,
pre-dating the Maidenhead system used since 1980.
